Inkosi strolled aimlessly around the land, picking up a few things to eat as he went. He was searching for a place to start a clan, one that would be under his control. He looked around at the bushes and walked through them, coming to a large clearing. It was surrounded by shrubs, trees, and a large rock; shaped like a meerkat. He sniffed the air, he heard it whisper his name as he wandered towards the large rock.
He hopped on top of it, gazing out into the land. He knew it was not claimed, for there was not scent of any other meerkat around. He leaped down from the rock and sniffed the ground. He started to dig a small bolthole that he could sleep in for the night once it came.
All was right in this place, he liked it so much. His eyes half-closed with content, he walked towards a tree and put his scent there. He continued to walk around the territory, putting scent marks around the border. This was his territory now; anyone who wanted it now was in for a fight. He smiled to himself at his accomplishment and headed off to dig a burrow.
He made his way back to the large clearing and started to dig. He could feel the sand against his paws and it felt so good. He made a large system of tunnels; each with a purpose. He sighed lightly as pride built up in his stomach from the work and went to go inside his den. His nose caught a scent; a scent of a female.....

+ Pocket had been wandering aimlessly for a good while now, there'd been nothing for the small meerkat to do without getting herself into some trouble with predators. Lately, she had been noticing the increasing numbers in birds of prey, probably due to the fact of the growing number of meerkats in the area. Not like it mattered any to Pocket anyways, she'd been able to avoid the predators looming around extremely easy. Not that she was proud of it or anything, all meerkats needed the ability to be able to get away from the larger mammals that roamed the area or those birds of prey that sat and loomed in the trees, watching everything, Pocket just excelled in this ability.
+When she wandered into the Kuhlice Clan Territory, she could smell the freshly marked area. Just her luck, she had wandered this way only to claim the land and some male comes along claiming it. These kind of things always seem to happen to the female, and even though she got agitated quite easily it never had before until now. She had wandered a far way to get here and to be only disapointed. d**n her timing and d**n that male! What was she going to do now? No other Clans seemed to suit the female and there was no way that she was just going to get up and leave. However, she couldn’t exactly fight for the territory, she was a fair soul and whoever that had claimed the lands had their right to it.
+With a heavy sigh, Pocket wandered into the lands, searching around for a sign of life, she might as well stay since she had came. There was no reason to leave, at least not yet, Pocket could see in the distance the outline of another, but she was too hot or exhausted, so she hauled herself under a small shrub where she was shaded from the dangerous sun.

He was startled by the thought of someone coming so quickly. He had only just claimed the territory. 'If traffic is always like this am in in for a nutsload of trouble,' he thought to himself. He squinted as the figure came into his sight. It was a small female, she looked as if she had been wandering for days. He eyed her as she came to the shelter of a shrub to rest. His fur bristled at the sight of it all. Then he remembered at rudeness will not win over a female, he needed to be something he was not; friendly.
He trotted over to the female with a small millipede in his mouth and when he reached her, he set it down next to her. "Here, you must be hungry. Whatever brings you here?" he asked her as he looked her over. Scars littered her body and her face. Her fur was a beautiful faded cream. He smiled to himself, looking at her grey eyes.
He looked at the stretch of his territory, it was really nice. 'No wonder a lot of meerkats were coming throught here,' He looked back at the female, waiting for his question to be answered.
